Softball Recap: William Penn Takes a Loss

William Penn was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 19-0 to the Middletown Cavaliers. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since May 4, 2019, but that streak is no more.

William Penn's loss dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Middletown, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 5-4 record this season.

William Penn will square off against Appoquinimink at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Middletown, they will challenge Red Lion Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
