Recap: Clinton Christian Couriers vs. Smith Academy Fighting 54th

The Clinton Christian Couriers entered their tilt with the Smith Academy Fighting 54th with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Clinton Christian walked away with a 37-27 win over Smith Academy on Saturday. For Clinton Christian, this counts as revenge for the 62-41 loss Smith Academy walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2022.

Among those leading the charge was Anthony Snyder, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 13 rebounds. He continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Ethan Ramer, who scored 4 points along with 3 steals.

Clinton Christian now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Smith Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Clinton Christian will take on Mishawaka HomeSchool W at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Mishawaka HomeSchool W focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up eight last Saturday. As for Smith Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against Eastbrook at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Indiana (Eastbrook is ranked 334th, while Smith Academy is ranked 332nd).
