Northern Highlands won the last time they faced Wayne Valley and things went their way on Friday too. The Highlanders walked away with a 21-13 victory over the Indians. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Highlanders.

Wayne Valley's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jadon Cabrales, who picked up 114 receiving yards and one TD. Cabrales really caught the secondary sleeping when he pulled down a catch that went for 70 yards. Danny Ferrauilo was another key signal caller, throwing for 201 yards and one touchdown while completing 77.3% of his passes.

Northern Highlands' win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Wayne Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Coming up, Northern Highlands will challenge Hackensack at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Wayne Valley, they will take on Passaic Valley at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
