Basketball Recap: Greenfield Comes Up Short

Greenfield was the 66-63 winner over Drury when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Greenfield Green Wave fell just short of the Drury Blue Devils by a score of 53-51 on Tuesday. The matchup marked the Green Wave's lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Greenfield's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Drury, their victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-3.

Greenfield will square off against Pioneer Valley Regional at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Pioneer Valley Regional will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Greenfield surely won't give up without a fight. As for Drury, they will head out on the road to square off against Wahconah Regional at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
