Football Recap: Mather Takes a Loss

Mather made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Curie, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Rangers fell just short of the Condors by a score of 30-28 on Thursday. The matchup was a 16-16 toss-up at halftime, but the Rangers couldn't quite close it out.

Mather's loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 4-2. As for Curie, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Mather will challenge rival Lake View at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Curie is set to take on their familiar foe North Lawndale at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday.
