Soccer Game Preview: Torres vs. Bullard

The Torres Toros will challenge the Bullard Knights at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Torres' last four contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Torres fell victim to Madera South and their airtight defense on Thursday. They fell just short of the Stallions by a score of 1-0.

Bullard played in conference for the first time on Thursday and they got just the result they we're looking for. They won by a goal and slipped past Justin Garza 3-2. Jeremiah Valdez had the honor of scoring the game-winner for the Knights.

Torres' loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 5-6-1. As for Bullard, the win got them back to even at 8-8-3.

Torres beat Bullard by a goal in their previous meeting last Thursday, winning 2-1. Will Torres repeat their success, or does Bullard have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
