Football Game Preview: Lennox vs. Madison

Madison will challenge Lennox on the road at 7:00 PM on Friday. If you head out to watch the game, expect to stay the whole 48 minutes: the MaxPreps rankings predict a close match.

It was all tied up at the half for Madison and West Central last Friday, but Madison stepped up in the second half. Madison strolled past West Central with points to spare, taking the match 30-14. Junior Tyler Tappe, who passed for 222 yards and 2 touchdowns, was a major factor in Madison's success.

Meanwhile, Lennox came up short against Sioux Valley, falling 16-28. Lennox were down by 0-28 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Everything went Madison's way against Lennox the last time the two teams met as they made off with a 51-21 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Madison since the team won't have home-field advantage. Watch the game and check back on MaxPreps to see if the change in venue makes a difference.
