Soccer Recap: Contreras Takes a Loss

Contreras was the 2-0 winner over Robert F. Kennedy Community when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Contreras Cobras lost 5-1 to the Robert F. Kennedy Community Bobcats on Wednesday. The Cobras have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Contreras now has a losing record at 1-2-2. As for Robert F. Kennedy Community, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-1-1.

Contreras will be playing at home against Mendez at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Mendez is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4.1 goals per game this season. As for Robert F. Kennedy Community, they will head out to face off against Bernstein at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Robert F. Kennedy Community knows how to get goals on the board -- the squad has finished with four goals or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully Bernstein likes a good challenge.
