Baseball Game Preview: Big Sandy Wildcats vs. Cumby Trojans

For the second straight game, Big Sandy will face off against Cumby. The Wildcats will look to defend their home field on Friday against the Trojans at 6:00 p.m.

Big Sandy came out on top against Cumby on Tuesday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run fourth inning. The Wildcats had just enough and edged out the Trojans 7-5. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Wildcats.

For Cumby's part, Jayden Evans was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-4 with two runs and one stolen base. The Trojans are 5-2 when Evans posts two or more runs, but 1-13 otherwise.

With the defeat, Cumby broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 6-15. As for Big Sandy, their win bumped their record up to 7-9.
