Softball Recap: Texas City Stingarees vs. Angleton Wildcats

Texas City was the 3-1 winner over Angleton when they last played one another back in March, but their luck changed this time around. The Stingarees fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 6-5 on Thursday. The Stingarees have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Trinitey Spencer made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one home run, two RBI, and one double. Another player making a difference was Paryce Jackson, who went 1-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.

Texas City's defeat dropped their record down to 13-11-1. As for Angleton, their victory was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-3.
