Basketball Recap: Jordan-Matthews Victorious

If Graham wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Jordan-Matthews, they should've done a better job of containing Zaeon Auguste. The Jordan-Matthews Jets came out on top against the Graham Red Devils by a score of 61-49 on Friday thanks to Auguste, who dropped a double-double with 26 points and 18 boards. Thanks to that strong game, he now owns an excellent 45.7% field goal percentage.

Kamarie Hadley was another key player, putting up 13 points along with five rebounds and five steals. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in steals.

Jordan-Matthews' win bumped their record up to 9-14. As for Graham, they dropped their record down to 2-20 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight at home.

Looking ahead, Jordan-Matthews is taking a road trip to challenge Chatham Central at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Graham does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
