Baseball Game Preview: Muhlenberg Muhls vs. Governor Mifflin Mustangs

Muhlenberg is on a five-game streak of home wins, while Governor Mifflin is on a ten-game streak of away wins (dating back to last season): one of those streaks is about to end. The Muhls will host the Mustangs at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

Muhlenberg fought the good fight in their extra-innings match against Twin Valley on Monday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Raiders by a score of 3-2.

Muhlenberg saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aaden Lopez, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base and two RBI.

Meanwhile, Governor Mifflin got themselves on the board against Conrad Weiser on Monday, but Conrad Weiser never followed suit. They were the clear victors by a 10-0 margin over the Scouts. Considering the Mustangs have won five contests by more than six runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Governor Mifflin's victory bumped their record up to 12-0. As for Muhlenberg, their loss dropped their record down to 6-5.
