Baseball Recap: Iowa Park Takes a Loss

Iowa Park entered their contest against Holliday on Tuesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Iowa Park Hawks fell just short of the Holliday Eagles by a score of 2-1. The matchup marked the Hawks' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Iowa Park saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Colton Stewart, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI. Kane Decker was another, scoring a run while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.

The loss was their first at home , dropping their record down to 9-4. As for Holliday, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 5-5-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Iowa Park will host Vernon at 7:00 p.m. on March 18th. As for Holliday, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Henrietta at 7:00 p.m. on March 18th.
