Buena won the last time they faced Pueblo and things went their way on Tuesday too. Everything went the Buena Colts' way against the Pueblo Warriors as the Buena Colts made off with a 79-58 win. The Colts have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matchups by 21 points or more this season.

Buena's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Kingston Clarke led the charge by going 6 for 7 en route to 14 points and seven rebounds. That's the most boards Clarke has posted since back in November of 2024. Jamin Booker was another key player, going 7 of 11 on his way to 15 points.

Buena was working as a unit and finished the game with 20 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Pueblo only racked up 12 assists.

Despite the defeat, Pueblo had strong showings from Anthony Carranza, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and ten rebounds, and Vez Chavez, who went 7 for 14 en route to 18 points. Carranza is trending in the right direction considering he's improved his point production for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Marcos Lopez, who posted six points.

Buena is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 17-5 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 29.1 points. As for Pueblo, they dropped their record down to 7-18 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Buena will face off against Nogales at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Buena's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last ten contests. As for Pueblo, they will square off against Flowing Wells at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Pueblo is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 50.8 points per game this season.
