Basketball Recap: Trinity Christian Wins Going Away Against Fullington Academy

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Citizens Christian Academy, Trinity Christian was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 52-33 win over the Fullington Academy Trojans. That's more bragging rights for the Crusaders, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Despite the loss, Fullington Academy still got an impressive performance from Garlan Godfrey, who shot 45% from the field en route to 21 points and six rebounds. Another player making a difference was Brandon Bloodworth, who posted eight points and eight boards.

The victory got Trinity Christian back to even at 1-1. As for Fullington Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-2.

Trinity Christian has already played their next matchup, a 56-41 defeat against Westfield School on the 24th. As for Fullington Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 48-37 loss against Terrell Academy on the 24th.
