Volleyball Recap: Seward Comes Up Short

Seward was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Nikiski Bulldogs. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, with their most recent defeat being a 2-0 loss back in September.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-18, 23-25, 25-21.

Seward's record is now 4-14. As for Nikiski, they have been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 13 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 27-11-5 record this season.

Seward will be playing in front of their home fans against Homer at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Nikiski, they will venture away from home to take on Nome-Beltz on Friday.
