A win for Girard just wasn't in the cards on Friday as the squad wasn't able to take the lead at any point. They had to suffer through a 55-27 loss at the hands of the South Range Raiders. While losing is never fun, the Indians can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio football rankings (they are ranked 192nd, while the Raiders are ranked 33rd).

When it comes to explaining why Girard lost, don't look at Dominick Tolone. Despite the final result, he threw for 310 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 11.5 yards per attempt, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. Mykel Collier was Tolone's top target, picking up 136 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
