Volleyball Recap: Doniphan-Trumbull Comes Up Short

If Doniphan-Trumbull was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Gibbon on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Cardinals fell 3-1 to the Hershey Panthers on Tuesday.

Charlee Richter paced Doniphan-Trumbull's offense, picking up 22 kills. Richter got some help from Laini Rath and her 28 assists. Richter was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Doniphan-Trumbull's loss dropped their record down to 14-17. As for Hershey, they have been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 13 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-11 record this season.

Doniphan-Trumbull does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Hershey, they have already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against Centura on the 29th.
