Basketball Game Preview: Breathitt County Bobcats vs. Betsy Layne Bobcats

The Breathitt County Bobcats will face off against the Betsy Layne Bobcats at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Breathitt County has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

Last Tuesday, Breathitt County beat Powell County 69-56.

Meanwhile, Betsy Layne waltzed into their game on Tuesday with seven straight wins... but they left with eight. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Wildcats 73-23. The Bobcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matchups by 21 points or more this season.

Betsy Layne is also on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.3 points per game. As for Breathitt County, their win bumped their record up to 11-8.
