Millard hasn't had much luck against Beaver recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Eagles will look to defend their home field against the Beavers at 3:30 p.m. Millard will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each contest than the last.
Millard is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. Their pitcher stepped up to hand Utah Military Academy - Camp Williams a 19-0 shutout on Thursday. The Eagles not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since April 1, 2025 (when they won 25-0).

Macie Wade was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out seven batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in May of 2025. She was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in two of her three plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. That stolen base was her first of the season.
In other batting news, Emily Stephenson was a standout: she got on base in all four of her plate appearances with four RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April of 2025. Another player making a difference was Maren Davies, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with five RBI, one stolen base, and one run.
Millard always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .765. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their OBP total in three consecutive games.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Beaver, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They walked away with an 8-3 win over Grand County on Thursday.
KaBella Low spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and two unearned) runs on five hits and racked up six Ks.
On the hitting side, Jerzee Beaumont was incredible, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Danzee Bradshaw, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI.
Beaver's victory was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-3. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for Millard, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-7.
Friday's matchup will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Millard hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .316. However, it's not like Beaver struggles in that department as they've averaged .365. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
