Giles is a perfect 10-0 against Grayson County since March of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Spartans will face off against the Blue Devils at 5:30 p.m. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Giles' offense. They lost 3-0 to Radford back in March. Giles haven't had much luck with Radford recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Meanwhile, Grayson County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against Galax, falling 8-0. While losing is never fun, Grayson County can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia soccer rankings (they are ranked 173rd, while Galax are ranked 14th).

Grayson County's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Giles, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.

Everything went Giles' way against Grayson County in their previous matchup back in March, as Giles made off with a 7-2 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Spartans since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
