Basketball Recap: Clarkston Takes a Loss

After soaring to 56 points the game before, Clarkston was a bit more limited in their contest on Saturday. They were dealt a 67-26 defeat at the hands of the W D Mohammed Caliphs. The Angoras were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Caliphs apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2023.

Clarkston's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for W D Mohammed, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Clarkston will take on Marist at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be the Angoras' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for W D Mohammed, they will challenge Cross Keys at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
