Volleyball Recap: Gordon Central Takes a Loss

Gordon Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 2-0 to the Chattooga Indians. The Warriors were not able to make up for their defeat to the Indians from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-12, 25-6.

Kinsleigh Massengill paced Gordon Central's offense, picking up three kills. Massengill got some help from Kendall Tucker and her two assists.

Gordon Central's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Chattooga, their win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-0.

Gordon Central didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Southeast Whitfield County on the 16th. Chattooga has also already played their next game (against North Murray), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
