Softball Recap: Ludlowe Takes a Loss

It was a Battle of the Birds when Ludlowe challenged Trumbull on Monday. The Falcons fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 10-8. The Falcons just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Alexa Mills was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two doubles, two RBI, and one run. Lauren Santa Barbara was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two doubles, two RBI, and one run.

Ludlowe's defeat dropped their record down to 7-12. As for Trumbull, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-6.

Ludlowe didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 16-1 victory against Bridgeport Central on the 20th. Trumbull has also already played their next match (against Westhill), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
