Basketball Recap: Strong Rock Christian Comes Up Short

Strong Rock Christian was the 47-20 winner over Bible Baptist Christian when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Patriots took a 38-27 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eagles on Saturday. The Patriots have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the loss, Strong Rock Christian still got an impressive performance from Becca Lee, who dropped a double-double with 14 points and ten boards. Lee is also crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Kyleigh Rachau was another key player, putting up five points along with seven rebounds and six steals.

Lia Lee continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Bible Baptist Christian, scoring 21 points. Another player making a difference was Hailee Brugonone, who posted seven points.

Strong Rock Christian now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Bible Baptist Christian, their win bumped their record up to 6-2.

Strong Rock Christian has already played their next contest, a 46-21 victory against Flint River Academy on the 8th. As for Bible Baptist Christian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 45-24 win against Kings Way Christian School on the 9th.
