Soccer Game Preview: Santa Fe vs. Cypress Ridge

The Santa Fe Indians will challenge the Cypress Ridge Rams at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday. Cypress Ridge took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Santa Fe, who comes in off a win.

Santa Fe's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Saturday. Everything went their way against Hargrave as Santa Fe made off with a 3-0 victory.

Santa Fe hit Hargrave with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Madelyn Utton, Hayden Ortiz, and Payton Stewart.

Meanwhile, while it was all tied up 0-0 at halftime, Cypress Ridge was not quite Shadow Creek's equal in the second half on Friday. They fell just short of the Sharks by a score of 2-1.

Cypress Ridge's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Santa Fe, their win bumped their record up to 2-0-1.
