Baseball Recap: Ketchikan Comes Up Short

The Ketchikan Kings lost 14-4 to the Greenup County Musketeers on Friday. The Kings have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Ketchikan's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Greenup County, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-5.

Coming up, Ketchikan will challenge Legacy at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Kings' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Lightning have averaged an impressive 9.4 runs per game this season. As for Greenup County, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Blazer at 6:00 p.m. The Tomcats have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.89 runs per game on average), something the Musketeers will no doubt try to take advantage of.
