JSerra Catholic posted their closest victory since May 7, 2024 on Saturday. They had just enough and edged out the Saint Francis Lancers 4-3. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Lions.

Abby Ford spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned runs on eight hits and racked up nine Ks. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Zena Edwards, who scored a run while going 1-for-2. Lauren Gaitley also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.
