Clifton-Clyde might be getting used to good results now that the team have six wins in a row. Everything came up roses for them against Stockton last Friday as the squad secured a 54-0 victory. Fans of Clifton-Clyde have seen this all before: every one of Clifton-Clyde's games this year has ended as a stomp.
Meanwhile, after a dominant win in their matchup two weeks ago, Washington County were humbled. They took a serious blow against Victoria, falling 6-52. Washington County's low-scoring defeat was the unsatisfying follow-up to their high-scoring outing the game before.
Clifton-Clyde's win lifted them to 6-0 while Washington County's loss dropped them down to 3-3. Clifton-Clyde have been dynamite on the offensive side of the ball, averaging 56.67 points per game. We'll see if Washington County can find some way to disarm them.
