Centennial came out on top against King on Monday thanks in part to Michael Nonis's efforts. Nonis was dynamite, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one home run and three runs. He has become a key player for Centennial: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 8-12 otherwise.

Nonis' strong effort led Centennial over King and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Huskies are 9-1 against the Wolves going back to March of 2023, a lead they'll look to extend.
