Soccer Recap: Esperanza Finishes Even with Rancho Mirage

On Friday, neither the Esperanza Aztecs nor the Rancho Mirage Rattlers could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw.

Esperanza's goal came courtesy of Aaron Espinoza, which was the first he's scored this season.

With that draw, Esperanza's record moves to 4-2-2. Meanwhile, Rancho Mirage's record is now 2-1-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Esperanza will take on Sonora in a holiday battle at at 3:00 p.m. on Monday. Esperanza's last four matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. Rancho Mirage and Upland will compete for holiday cheer at 5:00 p.m. on December 23rd.
