Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Southeast Career Tech). They simply couldn't be stopped on Thursday as they easily beat the Bonanza Bengals 56-22. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 42-5.

Southeast Career Tech got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Liyah Elfberg out in front who posted eight points. Another player making a difference was Jasmine Cooks, who had eight points.

The victory snapped Southeast Career Tech's losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 7-14 record. As for Bonanza, they dropped their record down to 1-11 with the loss, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Southeast Career Tech won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Eldorado at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Bonanza, they will take on Legacy at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
