Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Ella Eatherly and Macy Gladden Lead Madison-Ridgeland Academy to Victory

Madison-Ridgeland Academy won the last time they faced Oxford and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Patriots came out on top against the Chargers by a score of 2-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Patriots.

Madison-Ridgeland Academy not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Oxford between 20 and 21 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-21.

Leading Madison-Ridgeland Academy to victory were Macy Gladden and Ella Eatherly. Gladden had eight digs and three assists, while Eatherly had nine assists and four digs. Those eight digs gave Gladden a new career-high.

Madison-Ridgeland Academy's victory bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Oxford, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Madison-Ridgeland Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-1 defeat against Brandon on the 12th. As for Oxford, they will head out to challenge New Albany at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
