Berea's game last Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They took down the Carolina Academy Trojans 75-59. The Bulldogs' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Berea had a senior duo take command as CJ Durham shot 69% from the field on his way to 27 points and five assists and Josiah Strawther shot 4-for-4 from long range and dropped a double-double with 25 points and 11 boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Braylon Fields, who posted six points.

Berea's victory bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Carolina Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-8.

Coming up, Berea will venture away from home to take on Pendleton at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. Berea will need to watch out since Pendleton has now posted at least 55 points in their last three matchups. As for Carolina Academy, they will welcome Southside at 8:15 p.m. on Thursday. The Trojans will be up against the Tigers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 58.63 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
