Basketball Recap: Fremont Takes a Loss

Fremont lost against Lincoln High back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Fremont Tigers lost 47-27 to the Lincoln High Links. The game marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Despite the loss, Fremont still got an impressive performance from Jenna McClain, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten boards. That was a full 44.4% of Fremont's points, marking the fifth time in a row she's posted more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Kate Denker, who had five points and five rebounds.

Fremont's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Lincoln High, their win bumped their record up to 3-1.

Fremont didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 46-29 defeat against Lincoln Southeast on the 17th. As for Lincoln High, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 43-13 victory against Buena Vista on the 17th.
