Softball Recap: Germantown Beats Divine Savior Holy Angels for Their Sixth Straight Win

Germantown strolled into their game on Tuesday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They put the hurt on Divine Savior Holy Angels with a sharp 10-2 victory. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Warhawks also won the last time the pair played back in May of 2024.

Emersyn Coulter and Kennedy Bennett did most of the damage at the plate: Coulter went 2-for-3 with three stolen bases and two runs, while Bennett went 1-for-2 with one home run and two RBI. Coulter has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last four times she's played. Another player making a difference was Julia Sina, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.

Germantown's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-0. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.0 runs over those games. As for Divine Savior Holy Angels, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.

The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Warhawks 1.2, the Lancers 3.2) so any runs scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Divine Savior Holy Angels is set to square off against their familiar foe Menomonee Falls at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
