Basketball Recap: Emery/Weiner Takes a Loss

Emery/Weiner suffered their biggest defeat since February 8, 2024 on Thursday. They were dealt an 81-41 loss at the hands of the Fort Bend Christian Academy Eagles. Emery/Weiner has struggled against Fort Bend Christian Academy recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Emery/Weiner lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Maddox Larner, who posted nine points. The dominant performance gave Larner a new career-high in points. Harper Scheinman was another key player, putting up nine points.

Emery/Weiner's defeat dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Fort Bend Christian Academy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a massive bump to their 13-10 record this season.
