Basketball Game Preview: Leesville Road Pride vs. Knightdale Knights + Official Tickets

Leesville Road has won five straight games at home (dating back to last season), while Knightdale has won five straight on the road also dating back to last season, but those streaks won't matter much on Friday. The Pride will welcome the Knights at 6:30 p.m. One thing working in Leesville Road's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.

Leesville Road not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since December 11, 2024 (when they won 92-58). They blew past Apex 75-41. With the Pride ahead 46-22 at the half, the game was all but over already.

Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Knightdale's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They took a 73-58 bruising from Cleveland.

Leesville Road will have to keep a close watch on Juice Coleman and Brennen Jefferson, a pair of players who had a big impact on Knightdale's prior game. Coleman shot 46% from the field on his way to 16 points in addition to six assists and five rebounds, while Jefferson went 6-for-10 en route to 15 points. Thanks to that strong game, Jefferson now owns an excellent 45.5% shooting accuracy. Jaden Morgan was another key player, putting up six points.

Knightdale's defeat dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Leesville Road, their win bumped their record up to 4-1.

Leesville Road was able to grind out a solid victory over Knightdale in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, winning 51-40. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was the Knights' Isaiah Green, who shot 50% from the field to rack up 20 points along with eight steals and five boards.
