Basketball Recap: Morrill Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Morrill lost against Leyton on Thursday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Lions were dealt a 66-17 defeat at the hands of the Warriors. The Lions were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 43-10.

Leyton's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Kaleb Miller led the charge by almost dropping a double-double with 11 points and nine boards. Colt Van Anne was another key player, putting up six points in addition to eight steals and five rebounds.

Morrill is on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3. As for Leyton, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Morrill will host Hay Springs on Tuesday. As for Leyton, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Peetz at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
