BILLINGS, Mont. -
Skyview (Billings, Mont.) grabbed a lead in the first quarter and rode that momentum to a 44-13 win over Flathead (Kalispell, Mont.).
The Falcons put up 17 points in the opening quarter. Skyview scored on a rushing touchdown, a field goal and a passing touchdown.
After taking the lead on a rushing touchdown in the first quarter, SHS was up 31-0 at the half.
The Billings school expanded its lead to 37 points entering the fourth quarter. The Falcons scored two times in the third, including once on a passing touchdown.
The win was a nice bounce back for Skyview, which lost to Bozeman last week, 48-19. The loss comes after Flathead defeated Great Falls 20-7 last week.
In a AA game next week Skyview (1-1) takes on Great Falls, and Flathead (1-1) will go up against Capital also in a AA game.
