Tucker Venn Game Report: vs Pierce City

Passers beware: Tucker Venn came down with his first-ever interception on Friday and he's no doubt on the hunt for more. He also rushed for 66 yards and two TDs as Houston took down Pierce City 42-20. We certainly expect to see more strong performances from Venn considering he's already seeing the field as a freshman.

Looking ahead, Venn and Houston will challenge Springfield Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Fighting Irish will enter the matchup having just beaten East Newton, so the Tigers will have to guard against a team looking to keep the ball rolling.
