Volleyball Recap: Corvallis Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Corvallis was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Ronan Chiefs, falling 3-0. The Blue Devils were not able to make up for their loss to the Chiefs from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Corvallis was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-16, 25-18.

Leading Ronan to victory were Autumn Lozeau and Aubrey Krell. Lozeau had 13 digs and two assists, while Krell had 46 digs and two aces. Those two aces gave Krell a new career-high.

Corvallis' defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Ronan, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Corvallis will head out to challenge Whitefish at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Ronan, they will venture away from home to square off against Bigfork at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. The contest will give the Chiefs their first taste of in-conference action this season.
