Basketball Recap: Whitney Takes a Loss

Whitney has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They fell 71-61 to the Oak Ridge Trojans on Wednesday. The Wildcats were probably out for revenge after losing 54-41 to them when the teams met back in January of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Whitney's loss dropped their record down to 13-5. As for Oak Ridge, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-4.

Whitney will be playing at home against Folsom at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Folsom knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 14 games -- so hopefully Whitney likes a good challenge. As for Oak Ridge, they will head out to square off against Jesuit at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
