Basketball Recap: Blaine Takes a Loss

Blaine was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They had to suffer through a 79-47 loss at the hands of the Burlington-Edison Tigers. The Borderites lost against the Tigers in their previous head to head back in January, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 70-62 score last time.

Blaine's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Burlington-Edison, their win bumped their record up to 5-1.

Blaine will head out on the road to square off against Meridian at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Burlington-Edison, they will be home for the holidays to greet Mt. Baker at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Burlington-Edison knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four matchups -- so hopefully Mt. Baker likes a good challenge.
