Baseball Recap: Castaic Finds Home Field Redemption Against Trinity Classical Academy

There's no place like home for Castaic, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Monday. They had just enough and edged out the Trinity Classical Academy Knights 6-4. For the Coyotes, this counts as revenge for the 6-2 victory the Knights walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2024.

Andrew Bond tossed a big game, striking out six batters over six innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off six hits.

At the plate, Jr Yera was excellent, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.

Castaic now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Trinity Classical Academy, their loss ended an 11-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 2-1.

Coming up, Castaic will be playing in front of their home fans against Thousand Oaks at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The last three games Castaic has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Trinity Classical Academy, they will face off against Canyon at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday.
