Softball Recap: Indian Hill Wins Going Away Against Mariemont

Indian Hill had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the nine-run drubbing they dealt Mariemont on Tuesday. The Braves were the clear victors by a 21-12 margin over the Warriors. The Braves haven't had any issues with the Warriors recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Indian Hill let Zoey Glenn and Landry Glenn run wild. Zoey fired off two home runs, three stolen bases, and four runs while going 4-for-4, while Landry went 3-for-4 with one home run, three stolen bases, and four runs. That's the most runs Landry has posted since back in April of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Sarah Burroughs, who scored a run and stole a base while going 4-for-4.

Indian Hill was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .462. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .300 or higher in six consecutive matches dating back to last season.

Indian Hill now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Mariemont, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.
