Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Lake Travis walked away with it. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Round Rock Dragons a 6-0 shutout on Thursday. The Cavaliers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten games by six runs or more this season.

Not much got past Julianna Rodriguez, who gave up just four hits and racked up ten Ks to keep Round Rock off the board. Rodriguez has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in 15 consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Ella Smith was incredible, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with one home run and two RBI. Madison Pinzon was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one home run.
