            Softball Recap: Hug Hawks vs. Truckee Wolverines        
        
		
        
        
            Hug was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight  defeat. They came up short against  the Truckee Wolverines, falling  20-2. Having soared to a lofty 24  runs in the game before, the Hawks couldn't push the score so high this time.
 Hug saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Alessandra Barrientos, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 1-for-2.
Hug's loss dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Truckee,  the  victory made it two in a row for them and  bumps their season record up to 3-8.
 Looking ahead, Hug will face off against North Valleys at 4:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. The Hawks will need to watch out since the Panthers have now posted at least ten  runs  in their last three matches. As for Truckee, they will take on Wooster at 3:00  p.m.  on Monday. The Wolverines are facing the Colts at the right time seeing as the Colts are stuck on  a  ten-game losing streak.
