Baseball Game Preview: Frederick Bombers vs. Ryan Cowboys

The Frederick Bombers will head out to face off against the Ryan Cowboys at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Frederick will be strutting in after a win while Ryan will be coming in after a defeat.

Having struggled with four losses in a row, Frederick turned things around against Temple on Thursday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Tigers a 5-0 shutout.

Carter Russell was incredible, scoring a run and stealing three bases while going 2-for-2. Those three stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Maddox Enriquez also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.

Ryan kicked off their season on the road back in March and hit a couple of potholes. They lost 8-0 to Grandfield. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Cowboys have suffered against the Bearcats since March 28, 2019.

Frederick now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Ryan, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
