Bishop Ward's loss dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Hogan Prep Charter, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-9.

Bishop Ward came up short against Hogan Prep Charter in their previous meeting back in January of 2024, falling 60-48. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Hogan Prep Charter's Breiona Marion-Townsend, who posted 26 points.
